Whiteboard Animation Production Process – Eden Videos

Looking to start a white
board animation project? Most projects start out with
an initial consultation, where you tell us a little
more about your company and your project, either
over the phone or in person. Tell us what you
want to achieve. What type of video
fits your needs best? And when would you
like it completed by? This makes up the
foundation of your project and determines the project fee. When you’re ready
to go ahead, we’ll send you over a creative brief
template, a project contract to sign, and an invoice for a
50% deposit of the project fee. As soon as we have all the
paperwork out of the way and received your deposit,
we will confirm your slot in our production schedule
and get your project in front of our creative team. With the information from your
creative brief and anything else you would like
us to see, we’ll get to work on writing
or editing your script. We’ll send this to
you for feedback and make any
necessary amendments. If we’re on the same
page from the start, this won’t take more than
two rounds of revisions. If you’re providing a script
ready to go, then that’s great. Just said it over to us,
and we’ll take it from there to the next stage. We’ll get to work designing
our custom illustrations that will support and
strengthen the key messages from your approved script. When the storyboard is
done, it will give you an idea of what your video
will look like scene by scene. Just like with the script,
we’ll ask for your feedback on the illustrations
and the storyboard. If anything doesn’t
quite look right, now is the time to tell us
so that we can change it. One or two rounds of
revisions is generally enough to have this finalized. Once the storyboard
is signed off by you, we can get started on
the animation process. If your project
requires a voiceover, we’ll arrange this now from your
choice of our regular voiceover talent. We could also produce
voiceovers in other languages if required, but check first
to confirm availability if you need something
very specific or uncommon. If you are having your voiceover
recorded elsewhere or even by yourself, you’ll need to send
us over a high quality audio file at this point so we
can add it to your video. In the animation phase, we’ll
finalize the illustrations you approved from the storyboard
and put the whole video together. The video will be carefully
synchronized with a voiceover recording, and then we have a
couple of music options for you to choose from. We’ll share the first
version of the video with you so that you can
let us know what you think. Revisions at this
stage are always small, as we’ve covered everything
during the script and storyboard stages already. Let us know if you
need anything tweaked, and we’ll take care of that now. When everything is done,
your project manager will give you a call
to make sure you’re happy with how things
have turned out and see if there’s anything
else at all we can do. If you’re completely happy
with things as they are, we’ll get the project
wrapped up for you. Next, we’ll send you the
final invoice for the project, and as soon as we receive
the final release fee, we’ll send you the download link
for your video in the format of your choice, usually HD MP4. We also want to make sure
that your video is the biggest success possible, so
we’ll give you some advice on getting the most out of it. We’ll also offer you a
business video hosting service, which gives you a custom
video player with lots of extra features, including
very detailed analytics. Did I mention that
for up to five videos, we could hook this up for you
with no one ongoing costs? Want to find out more? We can’t wait to get started
on your project, so let’s talk about what
you want to achieve and how we can
help you get there.
