[MUSIC] In my session today, we covered cyber security and the importance of trust, and why cities really need to focus on that. Digital trust is so important for governments around the world because cyber attacks are on the rise. Ransomware is number one problem right now, and what cities around the world are experiencing is a ransomware attack. All their systems are knocked offline, they can’t deliver citizen services, they can’t deliver emergency services. So it’s a huge challenge and a huge problem for governments around the world right now. [MUSIC] I think government agencies really need to focus on how are you building out your digital environment. What’s your data resilience posture look like? Are you’re really in a position to scale up your resources to actually thwart off that attack, keep your citizen services up and running, and then scale back down once that threat’s over with. [MUSIC] Microsoft and our partners are really in a strong position to help government agencies secure their environment. When you think about Microsoft and our investment and the fact that we use our own tools to protect and secure our environment, our partners are using our tools to secure theirs, and then our customers ultimately using those tools to ensuring that you have that data, that you’re a good steward of that data, and they’re actually able to use that for appropriate government services.
